My name is Leah! Not like Princess Leia (although I get that a lot), it's lee-uh. Leah means weary, but I prefer not to adhere to that definition because I can be quite bubbly when I get enough sleep.

As a big Beatles fan, I've always looked to a John Lennon saying about choosing my career path; all I want to be when I grow up is happy.

I am a recent graduate from the University of North Florida. I have my bachelor's in communication with a focus in multimedia journalism and production. Because of my love for sports, I also have a minor in sport management. I hope to blend my minor with my interest in writing for a sports journalism career or to be a reporter for a local station.

I am a people-pleaser and a bit of a perfectionist. Working as a server for almost 5 years has helped with my communication and time-management skills. 

In my spare time, I enjoy relaxing on the beach, attempting to teach myself new songs on my keyboard or listening to some vinyl records.
